Tickets for the first concert in the IWSO’s 2012-2013 season are now available on sale from Medina Theatre, with prices maintained at the same as last season. A full listing of all the concert programmes is available online, and a poster for the first concert (on the 17th of November) can be downloaded from here.
Please note that concerts now start at the slightly earlier time of 7.15pm!
The new season begins on Saturday the 17th of November with Nicolai’s overture to the Merry Wives of Windsor, followed by the return of pianist Christopher Guild to play Schumann’s Piano Concerto. The second half of the evening’s music is provided by Rachmaninov’s first Symphony.
